For over 25 years, Number 1 Broadway has been the live music anchor of downtown Los Gatos, tucked into a second-floor space on South Santa Cruz Avenue with stained-glass accents and large windows overlooking the town's main drag. The 100-to-150-capacity room books live bands Thursday through Saturday, runs country line dancing with a DJ on Wednesdays, and hosts occasional dueling piano and comedy nights. The programming leans toward cover bands, country, and classic rock, drawing a crowd that skews older than the typical South Bay club scene. It remains one of the few dedicated nightlife spots in an otherwise restaurant-dominated downtown.
