The Novato location of Dean Biersch's HopMonk Taverns chain sits at 224 Vintage Way and features the Session Room, a dedicated 200-capacity listening room with a full-service bar. The venue programs live music up to seven nights a week, including an open mic every Wednesday and a local music showcase every other Thursday. From May through October, free concerts run on the outdoor beer garden stage on Friday evenings and weekend afternoons. With craft beer, pub fare, and a steady rotation of regional rock, blues, folk, and Americana acts, HopMonk Novato serves as southern Marin's most active neighborhood music venue.
